Do you want to use a commercial product to keep your kitchen surfaces clean? Many cleaners have harsh chemicals in them so try using baking bicarb soda instead. A mixture of bicarb soda and water can clean your stainless steel sinks. It doesn’t have an unpleasant odour and bicarb soda is a safe, chemical-free solution to most everyday kitchen cleaning jobs.
A mixture of bicarb soda and water can be put in your oven. Use gloves and plaster it all over walls and let sit 12 hours. Wipe out, then spray a vinegar and water solution all over oven and wipe out.
Microwave cleaning: put a bowl of water and a halved lemon (or lemon juice) in the microwave, bring to a boil for 3 to 5 minutes, turn off the microwave and wait a few minutes then wipe the interior clean.
To clean your blender put some dish soap into the blender and add hot water. Turn on the blender and the soapy water does the work for you. Rinse well after.
To clean a wooden chopping block sprinkle some salt on the block, add some water and scrub using a half lemon. Rinse to remove the salt.
Sprinkle some bicarb soda over a glass cooktop and place a hot towel over the baking soda. Turn on the burners for a few minutes to activate the baking soda. Turn it off, wait a few minutes and wipe the surface clean with the towel.
