Dear Client,

Thank you for choosing Eco My Home as your prefered home services provider, and welcome to chemical free cleaning! At Eco My Home we endeavour to bring you quality cleaning services that care for you, your home, and the environment. Our aim is to deliver an exceptional, sustainable and quality service that you can rely on. We’re here to make your life easier and change the way you think about cleaning.

Below is some important information regarding our processes, liabilities and a few handy tips to ensure you get the best possible service.

Once a cleaner is appointed to your home, they will be in contact to discuss your requirements. This contact can be a separate meeting, or you can arrange for your cleaner to arrive 10 mins prior to your first service. During this introduction please be as clear as possible regarding your required tasks so as to avoid any confusion down the track. Although our cleaners have a general process, we ask that you provide specific details for each task, as every client is different and no service the same. We have provided you with an extra checklist in this Welcome Pack for your assistance.

The first few services you receive are crucial in ensuring that you are happy with your cleaner! Eco My Home encourages open communication and feedback plays a major role in getting it right. Always let your cleaner know if you’re unsatisfied with anything or give us a call to discuss any further requirements you may need. Our cleaners are here to make your life easier and customer satisfaction is at the forefront of everything we do. Occasionally, it may take a few cleans to get everything up to scratch OR you may require more time. Our cleans are based on a priority basis, so if you need to get rid of mould in the bathroom or your house needs a good scrub, please let us know in advance so we can allocate you the right amount of time and to ensure we get the job done well. You can also ask your cleaner to focus on a specific area of the home each service and alternate those tasks so the bigger jobs are kept up to date. Generally speaking, the dirtier the house, the longer it takes. We have also provided you will a feedback booklet in the mail. Please use this to communicate any extra requirements. Your cleaner will also give you feedback in this booklet too.

We understand that you’re busy, however, having the right products and equipment is vital to your cleaner being well equipped and delivering a fantastic clean. Due to health and sanitary reasons our cleaners do not provide equipment. Although you are allowed to provide your own preferred products, we will not use non eco-friendly products. It’s important to us that we provide our contractors a safe and healthy environment in which to work. Please contact us if you would like us to supply you any products or let your cleaner know! If you have any issues with this, please call us.

All Eco My Home cleaners operate as independent contractors, therefore, all payments for the services provided are made directly to your cleaner. This is usually done by cash or bank transfer. Please talk to your cleaner regarding a preferred method. The only transaction that may be conducted between you and Eco My Home would be for products. Please ensure your payments are on time. Late payments to your cleaner over 4 days will incur a $10 fee.

Although we have Public Liability Insurance for our cleaners, Eco My Home advises that you should obtain a workcover policy to cover personal injury and ensure peace of mind. Most home and contents insurance have this cover included, or your landlord may have this insurance already in place. We advise to check your policy just in case! The cost is only $50 for a 2 year period and can be obtained by calling Worker Cover on: 1300362128.

Please be advised that if you have forgotten about your service and are not home, or cancel within a 24 hour period of your service, a $40 fee will be payable to your cleaner. This is to cover their travel expenses or loss of income for the next day. Our cleaners are super flexible with changing dates/times, but we do require 48 hours notice of any changes to secure other work to replace the slot for your cleaner.

Not having the right equipment can hold a cleaner back from providing a 5 star service. Below are some regular cleaning items that help to get the job done and in record time.
